ALTERNATIVE DANCE STUDIO AND MUCIC CLUB „SALSA LIBRE”, SOLEC 38 st.

Created in December 2005 alternative dance studio and music club Salsa Libre is an effect of our 3-year struggle to make our dream come true. We've just taken another step to fulfill our plans and aspirations.
Since the beginning of our activity, we have been interested not only in the dance techniques but also in the roots of dance, latin culture and its development.
Our co-operation with the nextdoor bar&bistro „La Danza” gave us opportunity to create an original and climatic night club, where our students can practice new steps and socialize with people with the same passion – SALSA.

Both spots, the club and the restaurant, are designed in a way that they can be transformed into a club very quickly. This is where we organize our salsa parties combined with other styles and rhythms, like samba, reggaetón, bachata, merengue and cha cha. We often invite music bands and guests from all over the world to give live performances.
And these are some details on our activities:
 

Dance rooms

Our studio is equiped in 3 professional dance rooms with mirrors and oak parquets on joists (keeping the dancers away from injuries).

Rooms I and II are divided with a soundproof wall which is drawn apart when needed. Thanks to that system we have one big ballroom (220m2) used during our parties.
In the same time, the 3rd room is transformed into a chill-out room with sofas, tables and candle lights where you can rest and sip your drink.
Main room is connected with  bar&bistro „La Danza”. During the parties they are joined together and form a real night club.
That makes our studio a unique one. We don't run a regular dance school.
Dance fulfills everything we do and that is why our project is something innovative.
We hope that our club will become a place for people whose passion is salsa and that their presence at our parties will make them more advanced in an artistic way.

However, we have some tecnical restrictions according to our club. We don't allow people in shoes with metal sole elements so as not to scratch the parquet. We also prohibit smoking in dancing area (but our guests are allowed to smoke in the bar). 
Currently, we have two kinds of parties:
